Too bad the author spoiled his article with that "invisible ports"
nonsense. So called stealthing doesn't make ports invisible. Instead,
the lack of a normal response to a ping makes your PC stand out like a
sore thumb, and simply informs a hacker that you're powered up and
using a firewall. If you are shut down, he will get a response from
your ISP letting him know that.

Just blowing off steam about one of my pet peeves concerning
the spreading of misinformation :)
