The service that I am referring to is a facility for people to organize
their home library. My plan was to provide a site where people with
small home library can catalog their information and share that with
their friends. I thought if I provide some program for free to use
which normally they have to pay money for then it constitutes a
freeware. In that respect I am providing the same facility as delicious
monster program provides for mac. But you need to pay money for that. I
am providing the same feature set for free. Doesn't that make my
website freeware?
When I searched in Google for the definition of freeware I came up with
the following definition
"Freeware is copyrighted computer software which is made available for
use free of charge, for an unlimited time, as opposed to shareware
where the user is required to pay after some trial period."
)
According to the above explanation my website surely constitutes as a
freeware and I should have the right to post in this usenet just like
others. I really appreciate you guys for acting as the gate keepers for
preventing unwanted messages. But, before you condemn somebody please
give him a fair chance.
Thanks and Regards
