I've had little success with linux as yet, but later distros have nearly
worked, only internet connectivity with a usb adsl modem still out of my
reach.

And earlier attempts, I could not get the sound to work!

But my music apps are such a mixture of Noteworthy, Cakewalk express,
Timidity, and Soundforge, (and a section of my computer all to themselves),
that if this works it may be ecxellent
