All absolutely on-topic and also occasionally off-topic? Have you
installed everything he's posted in the last week and checked to see if
any of it is adware and/or spyware?
He's posted ad/spyware here for years, and he's recently said that he
does it intentionally (to annoy). If he's gone a week without doing
it, great.
