There are TONS of alternatives depending on your particular needs.
Hard to beat Nvu/Kompozer as a basic all-around HTML editor that's
easy to use no matter what your experience level, but the more
extensive, complex and/or specific your needs become, you might want
to look around for something else that has the features you want or
need.
