It's also rather funny/sad to note that he ("M.L.") uses Outlook
Express which - if reading in an article window - makes it hard to
impossible to view the parent (grandparent, etc.) of the currently
displayed article, while 'normal' newsreaders *do* have such a 'show
parent article' function.
So for example, I don't really *need* attributions, but do provide
them, and he might need them, but doesn't provide them.
