Good luck extracting information from a skirmish in the browser

No. But the version you're using does have an annoying bug which
causes it to add blank lines to the blocks of quoted text it sends.
(If you are using the default view, with vertical lines to indicate
quote levels, you don't see the extra lines.) This has been fixed;
Thunderbird 1.5.x doesn't do it, and I think the latest Seamonkey
doesn't either.

For me, it's the relatively weak filtering capability which is the main
feature lack.
