The usage is derivative of the Hacker's Dictionary and
alt.sysadmin.recovery: originally from "clue-by-four"
(closely related to LART - Luser Attitude Readjustment
Tool), then generalized to mean those qualities a clue-
by-four is intended to impart ("cluons").
*I* prefer to capitalize it and, in the absence of a
definitive reference, shall continue to do so.
