And what you don't seem to understand is that many people who are
looking around for a piece of software which does X, may be pleased to
get advice of what is available regardless of whether it's free. It
may be that the the free s/w available which does X has already been
found by others to be less than good. Pointing out that a pay program
available is highly regarded is being helpful, not off topic. To
ignore pay s/w in providing help when appropriate is dumb.
As the OP says you suffer from tunnel vision.
