Compare apples to oranges:
Frame-sequential color vs. dot-sequential color. RCA won because they
had more money.
Crosby FM vs. the garbage we have today. Crosby lost because who
wanted something invented by an unknown.
We almost had DC power grids (NYC did well into the 1950s), but some
people were less stupid in those days.
