I dunno, unless it was Xnews' "fix badly wrapped text" option that
changed your view of it. It makes OE posts more readable, but
sometimes ASCII art trips it up.

I guess it depends on one's font settings; I thought the default font
for raw view was a fixed-width one, but maybe not.

It was a sig, not designed to be quoted at all.
