Easier graphic editing software for wife.

I have downloaded the Gimp onto her system and set it up but she is
uncomfortable with all the contols available.
She wants a simpler graphics program to edit images for a web site.
I guess the features most important are
Jpeg, Gif and PNG support.
Not overly confusing at first glance.
freeware of course.
windows PC based.
Easy to use and understand.
and
Good help and instructions help alot.
She is quick to get frustrated with something she does not have a
reasonably short time comprehending.
does anyone have any suggestions?
