Multifunction devices are ALWAYS hard to detect by their nature. This has
been true for years and will likely remain so unless the manufacturers
supply specific driver support for Linux.

SUSE Linux 10.1 has the firewall enabled by default with SSH access
blocked - which basically means everything but outgoing is blocked. Nobody
blocks outbound browser access by default.

Gee! I wonder where I would have looked!

In Fedora Core 6 on install, after the License Agreement, you see the
Firewall screen. The firewall is enabled by default and
permits only SSH.

To change firewall settings, choose System → Administration →
Security Level and Firewall. Hard to find?

You're clueless.

You've been ranting about Linux for the LAST FIVE YEARS THAT I KNOW OF.
You have endless hardware problems with oddball hardware that nobody else
on the planet uses. '

You're a TROLL. Period.

Utterly clueless.
