c'mon, Puppy is developped from an retired guy somewherer in the world
maybe Australia, he build it up from scratch starting with a boot
floppy ! then a peoples joined and helped for developement, and so, ask
them on forum or write them for this pcmcia pb. I installed it on a usb
stick, and booted with the "wacke up" floppy because no usb support in
bios, and it's reasonnably user friendly and still being improved, and
small.=20
