Then why did YOU raise those topics?
"It could never happen."
"It HAS happened before."
"It could never happen with THIS author." and on and on. . .
The discussion reminds me of a situation many parents have experienced.
Their nubile teenage daughter wants to go to some guy's apartment. . .
The parents try to explain it's simply better not to put yourself in a
situation where trust is REQUIRED.
In my experience, teenagers just don't "get it". In this discussion,
*you* just don't seem to get it.
