Hi Susan, I think a good way may be uploading compressed archives. My
alt.comp.freeware archive of past year (04.01.2006-04.01.2007= +65.000
posts) takes 128 megabytes in text format (exported from xananews) but
only 16,4 megabytes compressed in 7z format at high compression ratio

I'm sure that others have own personal acf archive and are ready to give
them in order to preserving global access to freeware knowledge if google
groups don's resume in short time

because, like I say, acf is...

place you can find
free of any kind...
