But the vote IS on whether or not "trialware" is an appropriate ware
description for ePrompter. If you want to change "da rules" to
disqualify any software that doesn't offer an option to disable
automatic updates, it's YOUR right to put THAT to a vote. <grin>
Seriously, all I'm trying to do here is say that no ONE person should
have the final unchallenged say-so when it comes to ware descriptions.
Most of us are on the same page with ware descriptions the vast
majority of the time but when there is ample grounds for legitimate
differences of opinion, I believe it should be a GROUP decision rather
than an individual one. Give the definition a fair read, then see
whether or not you think ePrompter fits it, then vote accordingly one
way or the other. I trust in the judgement of the group whichever way
the vote turns out.
