So it is sort of like an unsubstantiated rumour? No facts, just a distant
memory?
I have, after a quick google, found an example of a later version of Kerio
(4.0.13) that can crash when filtering urls that contain certain
characters-

Solution
Disable web filtering completely until an update is available.
I don't think this affects v2.1.5 though.
