I believe that he means that the Security Centre in the Control Panel is
showing that he has no firewall protection. IIRC the last freeware update to
Kerio was in early 2003, so this program (or version of this program) may be
too old for the Security Centre to take notice of it. This of course doesn't
mean that he is unprotected. IIRC earlier versions of AVG-Free had a similar
problem. The protection is there, it just doesn't show up in the Security
Centre.
