Because I started using Windows back in version 3.0. Since then, Windows
has s slowly become more and more untrusworthy with each version. I work
on other peoples' computers and need to understand the system they're
using, so I stick with Windows and do everything I can to make it
secure, even from Microsoft itself.
Recently I bought a new, small spare hard drive with which to fool
around and learn Linux (I went for SuSE), but as luck would have it, my
backup hard drive developed a few bad sectors and I had to use the new
drive as the new backup.
No, I will not attempt to set up a dual boot system. I haven't the time
or inclination to deal with the inherent problems in attempting to
create such an arrangement.
As for buying another hard drive, that will have to wait because I just
bought a new motorcycle and it's sapped my financial resources badly.
