just scrambling to get enough money to buy enough food to live another
day. It's not much of a life, but they bring children into it who either
die or spend every day of their lives in near starvation. The keys to that
situation are employment, money and birth control. Abortion is part of
that but it is not the only answer."
Abortion in india is mostly for gender selection and not population
control. It is a compulsion for boys and a devaluing of girls before
birth that reflects the horrible treatment of women during all stages of
life.
Jay stevens, aka dr. jai etc., saw a headline which seemed to be about one
of his bigotries and used it without reading, which opened the real
question about abortion as a terror in india against women.
