Ad-Aware

de KeithS 06/12/2006 03:10

Downloaded an update to Ad-Aware this morning, then started a scan. It
showed 32 critical objects within a minute, then an error box came
up with "System is shutting down, initiated by NT AUTHORITYSYSTEM"
System Process WINDOWSsystem32services.exe was terminated with
status code 0. System will shut down and reboot.
After a while, this warning disappears, the scan "appears" to
continue, but I'm bumped off as administrator, and the whole shebang
seems to lock up. I have to reset to reboot.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Ad-Aware, ran it fine without updates,
then updated and got the problem again.
No-Adware, Spybot S&D, A-Squared, all tell me I have no
problems/infections.
Anyone else getting similar problem?
