Please note that I never said that Firefox extensions work in IE.
My previous post (sniped by you) said
"This in my opinion is Firefox's one big annoyance. I appreciate the
frequent updates to make it more stable and secure, however it is
irritating that my Roboform Toolbar ends up broken for a few days every
single time.
Internet Explorer patches have never caused this type of problem. Sadly
this is the one area where Microsoft's browser is superior to Mozilla's."
My point is that I have never had an Internet Explorer add-on, such as
my Roboform Toolbar for IE cease working simply because IE was patched.
Firefox is my default browser. I prefer it over every other browser I
have tried. I am just annoyed that every time it is updated, my most
necessary extension (Roboform) gets broken. After every update there are
the inevitable posts in this group about broken favorite extensions.
There must be a better way to update the browser that will allow all
extensions to be preserved.
