Total Uninstall question

de ncSkeet 06/03/2006 11:24

I just ran Total Uninstall for the first time since re-installing
Windows, and it tried to surreptitiously install itself into my startup
folder. Thankfully WinPatrol caught it and I denied permission, and of
course when I did so WinPatrol closed the program. (I'm using Total
Uninstall 3, reportedly the last freeware version.) Before I uninstall
Uninstall, I thought I would check here to see if there's a way to
prevent this behavior. There's nothing in TU's "Options" that addresses
this. And I like the program, I just don't want it eating up RAM by
starting itself every time I start Windows...I may not use it that
session and would prefer to start the program only when needed.

Am I missing something? Any suggestions?

Thanks...ncSkeet
